Can I see the Nave?

- The nave, now known as St Andrew’s Hall, was probably finished by 1449, but it retains traces of the first church destroyed by fire in 1413.
- The nave is impressive for its size and beauty; it was intended as a great open preaching hall, with the pillars being kept as slender and high as possible to improve visibility and acoustics.
- There are seven bays in the nave, and the aisles are just half as wide again.
